It is a high head diversion type hydropowerstation on Khan Khwar River in Northwest Frontier Province of Pakistan. The water conduit is 5,000m long, and the maximum power discharge is 35m³/s.The plant houses two big turbine-generator units and a smaller one, with the total installed capacity at 72.15MW.
